Delegate Guzman is focused more on national politics than the local work of a State Delegate, so this comes as no surprise. Today she announced that her Hispanic Heritage Gala special speaker would be U.S. Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-TX).
However, Delegate Guzman probably should be asked these important questions:
- Does Del. Guzman support Castro’s decision to publicize a “harassment target list” of residents’ names and their employers who had donated to the President?
- Does Del. Guzman support raising taxes to pay off other people’s student loan debt, a position taken by the presidential campaign of Julian Castro, which is chaired by Rep. Joaquin Castro?
- Does Del. Guzman support decriminalizing unauthorized border crossings into the U.S., a position taken by the presidential campaign of Julian Castro, which is chaired by Rep. Joaquin Castro.
