The long-awaited Va. 28 bypass was already shaping up to be one of the most impactful local road projects in decades by requiring the taking of more than 50 Manassas homes, including an estimated seven to 10 in the Bull Run Mobile Home Park.
Now, a new route being explored by Prince William County could boost that number to 70.
After a heated debate, the Prince William Board of County Supervisors decided on Tuesday, Oct. 10 to spend an additional $1 million to pay an engineering contractor to design a new route.
